Book An Artist provides a powerful platform for creative professionals to discover and apply for unique job opportunities tailored to their artistic style and interests. Whether you're looking for local gigs, international opportunities, or jobs through referrals, our Open Jobs feature makes it easy to connect with clients who are actively seeking artists.
Book An Artist offers three main types of job listings under the Open Jobs section in your Artist Panel. Each type gives you different ways to connect with clients and grow your artistic career—locally, globally, or through your network.
🏡 Local Jobs
Local Jobs are job opportunities posted by clients in your own geographical location or nearby areas.
These jobs are best suited for artists who prefer working on projects that are closer to home. Whether it's a mural, canvas painting, or custom artwork, these jobs are filtered based on the city or region you’ve set in your profile.
Why Local Jobs are useful:
Tailored to your current location
Easier logistics for materials and delivery
Great for building your presence in the local art community
How to Apply for Local Jobs
Head over to the Book An Artist website or open the mobile app and log in using your artist account.
Once you're in the dashboard, click on the ‘Find Jobs’ tab from the menu.
At the top of the job listings page and on mobile, clicking on the down arrow icon (▽), you’ll see tabs like:Select the ‘Local Jobs’ filter at the top.
Use the Advanced Filters and apply them to refine your search:
Click on any job that fits your skills and preferences to view full details.
If the job matches your style and pricing:
Write a personalized message to the client, introducing yourself and explaining why you’re the right fit for their project.
(Optional) Attach relevant work samples or your portfolio to support your proposal.
Then click the “Send” button to submit your application directly to the client.
Click on the Go to Enquiry button to redirect to that Enquiry.
🌍 International Jobs
International Jobs are opportunities posted by clients from different countries or regions around the world.
These jobs are often remote-friendly and allow you to work from wherever you are. You complete the artwork as per the brief and share your work digitally or based on the delivery method required.
Canvas, Portrait, Sketch, Illustrations, Workshops category jobs are under the International Jobs filters.

How to Apply for International Jobs
In the ‘Find Jobs’ tab, switch to ‘International Jobs’.
Identify global listings easily with the globe icon 🌐.
Use filters like:
Category: Select from categories like Canvas, Portrait, Sketch, Illustrations, and Workshops to see jobs that fit your skills.
Budget Range: Choose a price range that aligns with your goals.
Other Filter (e.g., newest, latest, closest)
No Offers: These filters help you find jobs that haven't received offers yet
Job status (All, Open, Hired)
Once you’ve found a job that interests you:
🌟 Referral Jobs
Referral Jobs let you earn by helping others discover great opportunities. Through the Refer & Earn program, you can recommend jobs to artists in your network. When someone signs up using your referral link or code and secures their first job on the platform, you’ll earn a 5% commission reward.

How to Refer Jobs and Earn Commission
Whether you're using the Book An Artist website or mobile app:
Select the ‘Refer & Earn’ tab from the top menu.
Choose the job from the list that you want to refer.
Use the Advanced Filters to refine your search:
Click on the ‘Refer & Earn’ button for to the job you want to share.
Fill in the required information and submit your referral.
Tracking Your Referrals:
Go back to the ‘Refer & Earn’ tab.
Click the three dots (menu) icon in the corner.
Select ‘Track Job Referral’ to monitor the progress of your referrals.
💡 Note: When the referred artist signs up through your link or code and wins their first job, you’ll receive a 5% commission as a reward.
💾 Saved Jobs
Saved Jobs are listings that you’ve bookmarked for later. If you come across a project that interests you but you're not ready to apply just yet, simply save it to your list.
Why Saved Jobs are useful:
Easily revisit interesting listings
Keep track of opportunities you're considering
Plan your applications based on your schedule
To Save a Job:
Click on the "Save" button in the job description.
View all your saved jobs under the ‘Saved Jobs’ tab.
🗂️ Archived Jobs
Archived Jobs are listings you've marked as "Not Interested." These won’t appear in your active job feed anymore, helping you keep your search clean and focused.
Why Archive Jobs:
Declutter your job feed
Focus only on relevant opportunities
Keep track of jobs you’ve reviewed but decided not to pursue
To Archive a Job:
Click the "I'm not interested" in the particular job.
Select ‘Not Interested’ on APP and Yes on Web to move it to your Archived list.
View all your Archived jobs under the ‘Archived Jobs’ tab.
💡 Pro Tip: Enable Map View to browse jobs visually using pins on a map. Tap a pin to open job details instantly — perfect for spotting nearby gigs at a glance!
📲 Job Alerts via Mobile App Push Notifications
Stay ahead of the game with real-time updates. Artists can now receive instant push notifications through the mobile app when a new job goes live in their area.
How to Enable Job Alerts:
Open the Book An Artist mobile app.
Click on more.
Click on settings.
Choose Notification.
Toggle on Job Alerts for Nearby Locations.
Once activated, you’ll be instantly notified when a new opportunity becomes available near you, making sure you never miss out on a local job.
🔔 Important Note:
A job will be automatically paused after 10 artists apply. This helps keep things fair and gives everyone a better chance. So if you see a job you like, make sure to apply early!
