Artist - Set an Estimated Delivery Date for Canvas, Portrait & Sketch Orders

Written by Ankush

We’ve introduced a new feature for Canvas, Portrait, and Sketch orders that allows artists to add an estimated delivery date once an order has been paid.

This helps customers know when they can expect to receive their artwork and keeps them informed throughout the order process.

How to Add an Estimated Delivery Date

Once a Canvas, Portrait, or Sketch order has been paid, artists can add an estimated delivery date by following these steps:

Step 1: Open a Paid Order

Go to the paid Canvas, Portrait, or Sketch order for which you want to set an estimated delivery date.

Step 2: Add the Estimated Delivery Date

Click Add an estimated delivery date.

You can also click the Pick a date button to select a delivery date.

Step 3: Select the Delivery Date

Select the date you expect the artwork to be delivered to the customer.

Artists can also choose an estimated delivery period in weeks, making it easier to provide a flexible timeframe when an exact date is not available.

Step 4: Save the Date

Once you have selected the estimated delivery date or timeframe, click Save.

Step 5: Confirm the Delivery Date

A confirmation popup will appear showing the estimated delivery date that has been saved.

The delivery estimate is now available for the order, helping the customer understand when they can expect their artwork.

How to Change the Estimated Delivery Date

The estimated delivery date can be updated at any time before the order is marked as complete.

To change the delivery date:

  1. Open the relevant order.

  2. Click Change next to the current estimated delivery date.

  3. Select the new delivery date or estimated timeframe.

  4. Click Save.

  5. The updated delivery date will be saved and displayed for the order.

Note

Artists can update the estimated delivery date as needed until the order is marked as Complete. This provides flexibility if the expected delivery timeline changes during the artwork creation process.

Why Use an Estimated Delivery Date?

Adding an estimated delivery date helps:

  • Keep customers informed about when to expect their artwork.

  • Set clear delivery expectations.

  • Provide greater transparency throughout the order process.

  • Give artists flexibility to update delivery timelines when necessary.
