Artist - How do I request payments held by customers?

You can request to release payment held by the client.

You can follow the steps below to request to release the payment.

  1. If you can see a yellow badge before the amount owed that means that your payment is on hold. If there is no badge, the payment hasn’t been made at all and if it is green it has been paid.

2. You can only request payment if there is money in the Book An Artist Pay account.

3. There is a ‘Request to release payment’ button which can be found below the invoice.

4. Follow the prompts and select which payment you’d like to receive - whether it is the deposit or the final payment.

Note: On Request to release payment both Artist and Client get a notification

On requesting to release the payment, the Artist gets an Email notification and the Client gets a Text and Email notification.
