How to customize your invoice and other documents
If you're subscribed to the Bookipi Invoice Starter or Professional plan, you can personalize your invoice and other documents to create a more professional appearance that aligns with your company branding.
Learn how to customize your invoices and documents in Bookipi Invoice Web v2 with this guide.
Step 1: Create or open an invoice.
Click ‘Invoice’ on your dashboard or select a document category. You can either create a new document, or open the one you previously created.
Step 2: Fill in the details and check the information.
Enter all the details and check all the information.
Step 3: Click ‘Continue’ or ‘Update’.
If you have created a new document, click ‘Continue’ to generate it.
If you have opened a previously created document, click 'Update' even if you haven't made any changes.
Step 4: Click 'Switch to new template'.
In preview mode, scroll down and locate the 'Switch to new template' option in the right-hand panel of the invoice.
Step 5: Click 'Customize'.
Click on 'Customize' located at the top of the right-hand panel of the invoice.
Step 6: Customize your document.
Choose a font, text size, and color that align with your company from the options in the right panel.
You can also select a custom color by clicking the rainbow color wheel and entering the hex code that matches your branding in the provided field.
Step 7: Click ‘Send’.
Click ‘Send’ to send your invoice or other documents to your customer with the new template. You can also download or print your document with the updated template.
Step 8: (Optional) Switch to the old template.
If you want to return to the old template, scroll down on the right panel and click ‘Back to old template’.
Document customization is available only with a subscription. If you are not subscribed, you won't be able to send, print, or download the invoice or other documents using the new template.

Q: Am I able to personalize my invoice through the mobile app?
A: No. The ability to customize invoices and other similar documents is available exclusively on the web app.
Q: Will my customization apply to all future invoices?
Yes, once saved, your selected template and branding choices will apply to all future invoices by default.
