How to customize your invoice and other documents
If you're subscribed to the Bookipi Invoice Starter or Professional plan, you can personalize your invoice and other documents to create a more professional appearance that aligns with your company branding.
Additionally, you can change the displayed email or make your company name appear as the sender for more enhanced customization.

Step 1: Create or open an invoice.
Click ‘Invoice’ on your dashboard or select a document category. You can either create a new document, or open the one you previously created.
Step 2: Fill in the details and check the information.
Enter all the details and check all the information.
Step 3: Click ‘Continue’ or ‘Update’.
If you have created a new document, click ‘Continue’ to generate it.
If you have opened a previously created document, click 'Update' even if you haven't made any changes.
Step 4: Click 'Switch to new template'.
In preview mode, scroll down and locate the 'Switch to new template' option in the right-hand panel of the invoice.
Step 5: Click 'Customize'.
Click on 'Customize' located at the top of the right-hand panel of the invoice.
Step 6: Customize your document.
Choose a font, text size, and color that align with your company from the options in the right panel.
You can also select a custom color by clicking the rainbow color wheel and entering the hex code that matches your branding in the provided field.
Step 7: Click ‘Send’.
Click ‘Send’ to send your invoice or other documents to your customer with the new template. You can also download or print your document with the updated template.
Step 8: (Optional) Switch to the old template.
If you want to return to the old template, scroll down on the right panel and click ‘Back to old template’.
Customizing Email and Sender Name on Invoices
You can further enhance your invoices by customizing the email address displayed or having your company name appear as the sender.
Changing the Email Displayed on Invoices
Click on your user icon located at the lower-left corner of the screen.
Select the company whose email you wish to customize.
Click on the user icon again to access settings.
Navigate to the Settings section.
Open the General tab.
Edit the email address in the Company section.
Click Save changes to finalize the update.
Note: This change only affects the email displayed on invoices. Emails sent to yourself when sending invoices will still go to the email address associated with your Bookipi account.
Making the Company Name Appear as the Sender
Use the Bookipi mobile app to send invoices. This feature ensures your company name, rather than "Bookipi," is displayed as the sender.
As a Bookipi web subscriber, you have access to the mobile app and can seamlessly use both platforms for invoicing.
Document customization is available only with a subscription. If you are not subscribed, you won't be able to send, print, or download the invoice or other documents using the new template.

Q: Am I able to personalize my invoice through the mobile app?
A: Yes, you can now customize invoices in the mobile app. Just make sure you’re using the new UI version. If you’re still on the old version, go to 'More', then 'Others' at the bottom of the screen, then select the option to switch to the new version.
Q: Will my customization apply to all future invoices?
A: Yes, once saved, your selected template and branding choices will apply to all future invoices by default.
