How to view your call history in Bookipi AI Receptionist

In this article, you will learn how to navigate your Receptionist dashboard and review the following:

To begin, click ‘Receptionist’ from the left panel of your Bookipi web dashboard.


Recent Calls

The Recent Calls section displays your call history and allows you to review detailed information for each call.

You can:

  • View recent calls within a selected time period by clicking the time period dropdown button on the far-right side of the section.

  • Filter calls by request type.

  • Search by phone number or caller name.

  • Sort call records by clicking the arrow next to any column title (Phone number, Request type, Status, Name, or Call time) to arrange them in your preferred order.

  • Manually update the call status directly from the call entry. Simply click on the current status and select either 'To-do', 'In Progress', or 'Completed'.

    • To-do – marks the call as needing action or follow-up

    • In Progress – indicates the call is currently being handled

    • Completed – shows the call has been resolved or finished


Call Logs

Select any call from your call history to access its detailed logs.

At the top of this section, you can view the audio recording of the call, where you can listen to the full conversation.

In the ‘Overview’ tab, you can review an AI-generated conversation summary along with relevant call and customer information.

In the ‘Transcript’ tab, you can view the full text transcript of the call conversation.

In the ‘Call history’ tab, you can view all calls associated with the caller, including the date, time, call type, and call duration.


FAQs about how to view your call history in Bookipi AI Receptionist

Q: Why can’t I see my previous calls?

A: Your Bookipi AI Receptionist dashboard displays today’s calls by default. If you’re looking for older calls, click the time period dropdown in the far-right side of the section and select a specific date range or choose 'All' to view your complete call history, including previous calls.

If your recent calls appear locked, it means your subscription is currently inactive. To access the full list of calls, transcripts, and recordings, you’ll need to subscribe to Bookipi AI Receptionist again to restore access.

Q: Can I download call recordings?

A: Currently, call recordings cannot be downloaded. However, all recordings are securely stored in your Bookipi AI Receptionist dashboard, allowing you to access and review them anytime.

Q: Why is a caller marked as “Unknown”?

A: A caller may appear as "Unknown" if the name was not captured by your AI receptionist or if the caller’s name was not provided during the call.

Q: Can I delete individual call entries?

A: No. Individual call entries cannot currently be deleted. All calls are securely stored in your Bookipi AI Receptionist dashboard for record-keeping and future reference.

Q: Can I return a call directly from the call history?

A: No. Bookipi AI Receptionist is designed to handle incoming calls only and does not currently support outbound calling or callbacks directly from the dashboard.

The AI Receptionist acts as a virtual assistant that answers incoming calls, captures caller information, records messages, and helps manage customer communication for your business.
