How to edit your Bookipi AI Receptionist

If you need to update your AI receptionist and improve the accuracy of its responses, simply follow the steps below.

Step 1: Click ‘Receptionist’.

Click on ‘Receptionist’ on the left panel of your dashboard.

Step 2: Click on the gear icon.

Click the Settings option or the gear icon in the top-right corner of your screen.

Step 3: Select a section you want to edit.

Choose the section you wish to modify.

In the Persona section, you can personalize your receptionist by assigning a name and selecting your preferred voice.

In the Knowledge section, you can modify the ‘Information’, ‘FAQ’, and ‘Greetings’ tabs for your company. The more details you provide, the better the AI can offer accurate responses during customer calls.

In the Actions section, you can choose how your receptionist handles calls such as enabling the scheduling option to add appointments to your Bookipi Scheduler.

Step 4: Click ‘Next’.

Click ‘Next’ in the top-right corner of each page to move on to the next section.

If you have moved to the next page and want to return to the previous section, click the back arrow in the upper-left corner.

Step 5: Test your receptionist.

Test your receptionist by clicking ‘Call’ to start a conversation.

To make further adjustments, use the back arrow in the upper-left corner to return to the editing page and update your information as needed.

If you do not wish to publish yet, simply click the ‘X’ button on the upper right corner, and select ‘Continue’ to save your changes as draft.

Step 6: Click ‘Publish’.

When you're ready, click ‘Publish’ in the top right of the page to launch your AI receptionist.

Step 7: Confirm to publish.

Select ‘Publish’ to confirm and go live with your updated AI receptionist.

A: While there's no delete option, you can unpublish your AI Receptionist, update the information, and then publish it again with the new details.

A: From the editing page, head to the Test section and click ‘Call’ to start a simulated conversation with your AI Receptionist and see how your updates are working. Once you're satisfied with the results, click ‘Publish’ to apply the changes.

A: Yes, just make sure to click 'Publish' to apply and launch any changes you've made.

Q: Why does the AI Receptionist give different answers to the same question?
