How to set up a Recurring Invoice in the Bookipi Mobile App
The Recurring Invoice feature in the Bookipi Mobile App lets you automatically generate invoices at set intervals (weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.). This guide shows you how to create a new recurring invoice and send it to your client directly from the app.
Step 1: Start a new invoice
From the home screen, go to the Invoice category. Tap the blue plus (+) button to create a new invoice.
Step 2: Add a customer
From the pop-up options, select your customer’s name.
To add a new customer not yet in your list, tap ‘+ New’ in the upper right corner, enter their details, and save.
Step 3: Add items to the invoice
Scroll up and select an item from your item list.
To add a new item that doesn’t exist yet on your lists, tap ‘+ New’ in the upper right corner, enter the item details, and save.
Step 4: Confirm customer and items
After adding the customer and items, tap ‘Done’.
Step 5: Set recurrence
Scroll up to find the More section, and tap ‘Recurrence’.
Choose a recurrence option: Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Monthly, Yearly, etc.
After selection, you will see a recurring icon appear, confirming the invoice is set to recur.
Tap 'Save' to save the invoice with the recurrence setting.
Step 6: Send the invoice
Tap ‘Next’ to proceed.
Select your preferred sending method: 'Email' (directly from the app), 'WhatsApp', or another available option.
Tap 'Send' to finalize and send the invoice to your client.
The invoice you scheduled to recur has been successfully sent according to the selected recurrence settings.
A recurring icon is displayed below the invoice number to indicate its recurring status.
