How to Send a Receipt for a Paid Invoice on Mobile

Sending a receipt for a paid invoice helps keep your customers informed and provides them with a copy of their payment confirmation. Using the mobile app, you can quickly send a receipt directly from the invoice’s payment records in just a few taps.

This guide walks you through accessing payment records and emailing receipts directly to your customers.

Step 1: Open the Invoice

Navigate to the Invoices category, then open the 'Archived' section.

Select the paid invoice for which you would like to send a receipt.

Step 2: View Payment Records

Open the invoice, then scroll down and tap 'View records' at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Send the Receipt

In the payment record history, tap 'Send a receipt'.

Step 4: Confirm the Email Address

The system will automatically fill in the customer’s email address based on the customer information saved on the invoice. If needed, you can edit or replace the email address before sending.

Step 5: Send the Receipt

Tap 'Send receipt' to email the payment receipt to your customer.
