How to Register for France e-Invoicing in the Bookipi Mobile App
Before you start: Make sure you have your business's SIREN number available. The registration process uses your SIREN to find and verify your business details.
Register for France e-Invoicing
Step 1: Open the e-Invoice setup
From the Invoice section, tap 'Register now'.
Step 2: Get started
On the Set up e-Invoice page, select 'Get started' to begin the registration process. Before continuing, review 'Bookipi’s Privacy Policy'.
Step 3: Search for your business
Enter your 9-digit SIREN number, then select 'Search' to find your business in the French business directory.
Step 4: Link your Bookipi account
Review your business information, then tap 'Link account to Bookipi' to connect your business to your Bookipi account.
Step 5: Confirm your business details
Review the information retrieved for your business, including the Business Name, SIREN, EU VAT, and Address. If everything is correct, tap 'Agree and continue'.
Step 6: Complete the registration
Once registration is complete, the Set up e-Invoice complete screen will appear. e-Invoice will be enabled by default. You can use the toggle shown if you need to turn the feature off.
You're all set!
Your business is now registered for France e-invoicing in Bookipi. You can now create and receive e-invoices.
Note: You can currently register for France e-Invoicing using the Bookipi mobile app only. This feature is not yet available on the web app.

Q: Who can register for e-invoicing in Bookipi?
A: French users can register their business for e-invoicing directly through the Bookipi mobile app.
Q: What if I can’t find my business?
A: Make sure the SIREN number you entered is correct. You can tap Search again and enter the correct SIREN number.
Q: Can I turn off e-Invoice after registration?
A: Yes. Once setup is complete, you can use the Enable e-Invoice toggle shown on the completion screen to turn the feature off.
Q: I disabled e-Invoice after setting it up. How can I enable it again?
A: To re-enable e-Invoicing on your mobile device, go to More > Settings > Company information, then untick Change country / pause e-invoicing.
Q: Why can't I create an e-Invoice even though I haven't created 3 e-Invoices yet?
A: The 3 free invoice count is shared between regular invoices and e-Invoices. This means both types of invoices are included in the same count.
For example, if you have already created 2 regular invoices and 1 e-Invoice, you have reached the 3 free invoice limit. The paywall will appear, and you will need to subscribe to create more invoices.
Q: Does the 3 free invoice count include both regular invoices and e-Invoices?
A: Yes. The free invoice count is combined for both regular invoices and e-Invoices.
For example, if you create:
1 regular invoice today
1 regular invoice tomorrow
1 e-Invoice the following day
You will have used all 3 free invoices, and the paywall will appear after that.
