Learn how to edit an invoice in Bookipi Invoice Web v2 with our simple steps.
Step 1: Click ‘Invoice’.
Click ‘Invoice’ on the left panel menu of your dashboard.
Step 2: Select an invoice.
Choose and open the invoice you want to modify.
Alternatively, click the ellipsis (three dots) on the far right of the invoice and choose ‘Edit’.
Step 3: Edit the invoice.
If the invoice is still in Draft status, you can make the necessary edits directly.
If the invoice is marked as Sent or Read, click ‘Edit’ at the top of the invoice, then make the necessary edits.
Step 4: Click ‘Update’.
Click ‘Update’ to save your changes.
Step 5: Click ‘Send’.
Click ‘Send’ to submit the updated invoice to your customer.
You can't edit an invoice once it is fully or partially paid.

Q: Can I edit an invoice after it has been sent?
A: Yes, you can edit the invoices even after they have been Sent or marked as Read.
Q: How can I edit an invoice that has already been paid?
A: To edit an invoice that was manually marked as paid, you must first remove the recorded payment. Once removed, make the necessary edits, resend the updated invoice to your client if required, and then record the payment again.
Q: Will the client be notified if I update a sent invoice?
A: If you resend the invoice after updating, the client will receive the updated version. If you don’t resend, they won’t be notified.
