How to create and send a customer statement

How to create a customer statement for the last 1 year

Learn how to create a customer statement for the last 1 year on Bookipi Invoice mobile app with these easy steps:

Step 1: Select ‘Invoice’

Navigate to the ‘Invoice’ to access the menu.

Step 2: Select ‘Customer’

Tap ‘Customer’ to see all customer lists.

Step 3: Choose a Customer

Select a customer name whose statement you want to view.

Step 4: View Customer Documents

All documents created for this customer in the last year will be displayed.

Step 5: Select ‘Print’

Tap the 'Print' icon at the top right to generate a PDF copy of the statement.

Step 6: Download or Send the Statement

Download the statement to your phone by selecting ‘Print’, or send it to your customer by tapping ‘Send’.

Step 1: Select ‘Invoice’

Navigate to the ‘Invoice’ to access the menu.

Step 2: Select ‘Customer’

Tap ‘Customer’ to see all customer lists.

Step 3: Choose a Customer

Select a customer name whose statement you want to view.

Step 4: View Customer Documents

All documents created for this customer in the last year will be displayed.

Step 5: Customize the date period

Tap the drop-down arrow labeled 'Last 1 year'.

Select ‘Custom’ to begin customizing the date range.

Step 6: Set the Starting Date

Tap ‘Start Date’ to set the beginning of the period.

Pick a date, and tap ‘Confirm’.

Step 7: Set the Ending Date

Tap ‘End Date’ to set the end of the period.

Pick a date, and tap 'Confirm'.

Step 8: Confirm Date Selection

Tap ‘Save’ to apply your selected date range.

Step 9: Select ‘Print’

Tap the 'Print' icon at the top right to generate a PDF copy of the statement.

Step 10: Download or Send the Statement

  • Invoice numbers and issue dates

  • Amounts billed and paid

A: Absolutely! After generating the statement, simply tap the printer icon to save it as a PDF file to your device.

Q: Is it possible to download multiple statements at once?

A: Currently, statements can only be downloaded individually. Bulk downloads are not supported at this time.

Q: I can’t find the option to create a statement. What should I check?

A: If you’re not seeing the option, please ensure the following:

  • You've created at least one invoice for the selected client

  • You're using the latest version of the Bookipi mobile app

  • You've selected the client from the Customers tab

Q: Can I regenerate or resend a customer statement?

A: Yes! You can return to the client’s profile at any time to recreate or resend their statement as needed.
