How to set the terms and conditions for proposals

How to set the terms and conditions for proposals

Learn how to set and edit the terms and conditions in Bookipi Proposals with our simple steps below.

Step 1: Click ‘Proposal’.

Click on 'Proposal' in either the dashboard menu or the left-hand panel of the screen.

Step 2: Click ‘Create’ or select a proposal.

Click ‘+ Create’ to start a new proposal, or select a proposal that you would like to send.

Step 3: Select the ‘Agreement’ tab.

Go to the ‘Agreement’ tab.

Step 4: Scroll down to the Terms and Conditions section.

Scroll down to the Terms and Conditions section in your proposal.

A standard Terms and Conditions template is provided for your proposal. However, since the generated templates may not always perfectly match your specific business needs, you can customize them according to your preferences. In this case, you can:


Add a Clause

Step 1: Click '+ Add a clause'.

Add a clause by clicking '+ Add a clause'.

Step 2: Enter a Headline and Content.

Fill in the Headline and Content of your clause.

Step 3: Click ‘Add’.

Click ‘Add’ to include the clause in your proposal.

Step 4: (Optional) Click ‘Save on setting’.

Click ‘Save on setting’ if you want the clause to be included in your future proposals.


Edit a clause

Step 1: Click the pencil icon.

Select the pencil icon on the far right of the clause to modify it.

Step 2: Edit the clause.

Edit the headline and/or content as needed.

Step 3: Click ‘Update’.

Select ‘Update’ to save the changes.

Step 4: (Optional) Click ‘Save on setting’.

Click ‘Save on setting’ if you want the updated clause to be included in your future proposals.


Hide the clause

Step 1: Click the eye icon.

Select the eye icon on the far right of the clause to hide it. This allows you to save the clause for future use, even if you're not currently using it.

Step 2: (Optional) Click ‘Save on setting’.

Click ‘Save on setting’ if you want the clause to remain hidden in your future proposals.


Delete a clause

Step 1: Click the trash icon.

Click the trash bin icon on the far right of the clause to remove it.

Step 2: Click ‘Ok’.

Click ‘Ok’ to confirm when you are prompted to delete the clause.

Step 3: (Optional) Click ‘Save on setting’.

Click ‘Save on setting’ if you want the clause to be permanently removed from your future proposals.


Rearrange clauses

Step 1: Drag the clause.

Select a clause until a four-way arrow pointer appears, then click and hold the clause to drag it up or down and rearrange the order.

Step 2: (Optional) Click ‘Save on setting’.

Click ‘Save on setting’ if you want to keep the updated order of your clauses in your future proposals.
