How to reset your password

Learn how to reset your password on the Bookipi Invoice Mobile App

If you have forgotten your password and are unable to log in to the mobile app, there are two ways to reset your password.


Resetting your password while logged out

Step 1: Open the app and 'Log In'

Select ‘Log in’ to get started.

Step 2: Select ‘Forgot Password’

Tap ‘Forgot password’ to initiate the reset process.

Step 3: Enter Your Email Address

Provide the email address associated with your Bookipi Invoice account and tap ‘Submit’.

Step 4: Check for Reset Email

After submitting your request, a notification will appear confirming that a password reset email has been sent to your registered email address. Tap 'Ok' to proceed.

Step 5: Open Reset Email

Go to your inbox and open the email from Bookipi. Tap ‘Reset password’ in the email.

Step 6: Enter New Password

Type in your new password and tap ‘Submit’.

Once you've successfully changed your password, a confirmation message will appear on your screen, indicating that the update was successful.


Resetting your password while logged into the app

Step 1: Access the 'More' menu

If you're logged into the Bookipi Invoice mobile app, tap ‘More’ at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Access 'User Account'

Tap the gear icon at the upper right to access 'User Account'.

Step 3: Navigate to 'User Account'

Tap ‘User Account’.

Step 4: Reset your password

Select ‘Reset your password’.

Step 5: Confirm Password Reset

Tap ‘Yes!’ to confirm that you'd like to reset your password.

Step 6: Notification of Reset Email

Once you submit your request, you will see a notification confirming that a password reset email has been sent to your registered email address. Click 'Ok' to continue.

Step 7: Check Your Inbox

Go to your email inbox and find the email from Bookipi. Open the email and tap ‘Reset password’.

Step 8: Enter New Password

Input your new password and tap ‘Submit’.

Once your password is successfully updated, a confirmation message will appear on your screen indicating the process is complete.

Password Reset FAQ and Troubleshooting

Q: I didn’t receive the password reset email. What should I do?

A: If you didn't receive your password reset link, please do the following:

  • Check your spam/junk folder

  • Make sure you are checking the same email address you used to register

  • Ensure your email inbox is not full

  • Wait a few minutes; email delivery may be delayed

Q: What if I forgot which email I used for my Bookipi account?

A: Try checking:

  • Any email accounts where you’ve received Bookipi invoices or notifications

  • The email on your business account, if you used it originally

  • If you still can't find it, you may need to contact Bookipi support.

Q: Will resetting my password log me out of other devices?

A: Yes, resetting your password will log you out of all sessions for security purposes.

Troubleshooting Steps

Problem: The reset link isn’t working

Try:

  • Opening the link in a different browser

  • Copy/paste the link manually into your browser

  • Making sure the link hasn’t expired (reset links usually expire after a short time)

  • If still not working, request a new reset email.

Problem: The app says my email is not registered

Possible reasons:

  • Typo in your email

  • You used a different login method (Google/Apple/Facebook)

  • You registered using a different email address

Try different email addresses you own or log in using your original sign-in provider.

Problem: I reset my password, but still can’t log in

Try the following:

  • Double-check that you’re typing the updated password correctly

  • Confirm that your device has a stable internet connection

  • Ensure your Bookipi app is updated to the latest version

  • Restart the app (or device) and try again

Problem: Email is correct, but the reset keeps failing

Try:

  • Removing and re-installing the Bookipi Invoice app

  • Logging in from a different device

  • Using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or vice versa)

  • If the issue persists, contact support@bookipi.com.

If none of the above works, reach out to Bookipi Support with:

  • Your registered email address.

  • A brief description of the issue.

  • Please send a short video demonstrating the issue.
