How to end a recurring invoice

Learn how to end a recurring invoice on Bookipi Invoice Web v2 with these simple steps below:

Step 1: Click ‘Invoice’.

Select the 'Invoice' category from the left panel of your screen.

Step 2: Click ‘Recurring’.

Click the 'Recurring' button at the top of your invoice list to filter and view all your recurring invoices.

Step 3: Click the ellipsis button.

Click the ellipsis button on the far right of the invoice for which you want to end the recurring schedule.

Step 4: Select ‘End Recurring’.

Choose ‘End Recurring’.

Alternatively, you can click the ellipsis button on the right side of a specific invoice and select ‘Stop recurring’ without filtering the entire list.

Your recurring invoice has now been canceled, and it will no longer be repeated.

Q: Will my client be notified when I end a recurring invoice?

A: No, clients are not notified when you end a recurring invoice. Only the scheduled invoices that have already been sent will appear in their inbox.

Q: Do recurring invoices count toward my monthly invoice limit if I'm on a free plan?

A: Yes. Each recurring invoice sent counts as one invoice for your monthly quota under the free plan.

Q: I ended a recurring invoice by mistake. Can I recover it?

A: Yes, you can. To reactivate the recurring invoice, simply open the original invoice, toggle the Recurring option back on, then set the desired recurring schedule and next issue date. The invoice will resume sending automatically based on the new settings.
