How to add overdue reminders on the Web App
With Bookipi Invoice, you can notify your customers about unpaid and overdue invoices. Follow these simple guides to set up overdue reminders on Bookipi Invoice Web v2.
There are two ways to turn on overdue reminders. You can either:
Turn on invoice due reminders when creating an invoice
Step 1: Select the Invoice category
Select 'Invoice' from the left-hand menu or directly from the dashboard.
Step 2: Create an invoice
If you accessed the Invoice category from the left-hand menu, click '+ Create' to start a new invoice.
Alternatively, you can click '+ Create' under the Invoice category on your homepage dashboard.
Step 3: Enter invoice details and due date
Provide all required information for the invoice and make sure to set a due date.
Step 4: Set Overdue Reminder
In the right-side panel, turn on the Overdue Reminder option, select a reminder interval, and click 'Close'. The setting will be automatically saved to your invoice.
Step 5: Save your invoice.
Select 'Continue' to save your invoice.
Step 6: Send your invoice
Click ‘Send’ to submit the invoice to your customer.
Your invoice will now send an overdue reminder to your customers based on your selected reminder date.
Turn on invoice due reminders from Settings
Step 1: Click on your user icon
Click on your user icon in the lower left corner of your dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Settings
Select ‘Settings’ beneath your account email address.
Step 3: Go to ‘Services’
Select the 'Services' tab.
Step 4: Set the interval for overdue reminders
In the Due and reminder section, toggle the interval options to automatically apply overdue reminders to new invoices. Changes will be updated automatically.
Even after making these changes in the Settings section, you can still customize the options directly on individual invoices.
Please note that the Overdue Reminder feature is exclusive to the Invoice category and is not available for any other categories.
