How to add overdue reminders on the Web App
With Bookipi Invoice, you can notify your customers about unpaid and overdue invoices. Follow these simple guides to set up overdue reminders on Bookipi Invoice Web v2.
There are two ways to turn on overdue reminders. You can either:
Turn on invoice due reminders when creating an invoice
Step 1: Click ‘Invoice’.
Select 'Invoice' from the left-hand menu or directly from the dashboard.
Step 2: Click ‘+Create’.
If you accessed the Invoice category from the left-hand menu, click 'Create' to start a new invoice.
If you selected it from the dashboard, you can skip this step and go straight to Step 3.
Step 3: Enter all the details and set the due date.
Provide all required information for the invoice and make sure to set a due date.
Step 4: Click ‘Edit’ under the Overdue reminders section.
In the right-side panel, click the ‘Edit’ button under the Overdue reminders section, just below the Recurring option.
Step 5: Select your Due Reminder.
Choose when you would like overdue reminders to be sent to your customers by enabling the desired options.
Step 6: Click ‘Close’.
Click 'Close' once you have finished making your selections.
Step 7: Click ‘Continue’.
Select 'Continue' to save your changes.
Step 8: Click ‘Send’.
Click ‘Send’ to submit the invoice to your customer.
Your invoice will now send an overdue reminder to your customers based on your selected reminder date.
Turn on invoice due reminders from Settings
Step 1: Click on your user icon.
Click on your user icon in the lower left corner of your dashboard.
Step 2: Select ‘Settings’.
Select ‘Settings’ from the drop-down options.
Step 3: Go to ‘Services’.
Select the 'Services' tab.
Step 4: Set the interval for overdue reminders.
In the Due and reminder section, toggle the interval options to automatically apply overdue reminders to new invoices. Changes will be updated automatically.
Even after making these changes in the Settings section, you can still customize the options directly on individual invoices.
Please note that the Overdue Reminder feature is exclusive to the Invoice category and is not available for any other categories.
