How to edit a deposit request
Learn how to edit a deposit request in Bookipi Invoice Web v2 if your deposit hasn't been paid yet.
Step 1: Click ‘Invoice’.
Select 'Invoice' from the left-hand menu or directly from the dashboard.
Step 2: Select an invoice.
Select the invoice for which you want to edit the deposit request.
Step 3: Edit the deposit request.
You can edit the deposit request directly from the invoice preview by clicking 'Deposit' in the right-side panel.
Step 4: Edit your deposit request.
Change the amount, percentage, or due date of the deposit request.
Step 5: Click ‘Save’.
Click 'Save' to save the information for your requested deposit.
Step 6: Click ‘Send’.
Click ‘Send’ to submit the updated invoice to your customer.
If the deposit has been paid, the deposit request cannot be edited.

Q: Can I edit a deposit request after it’s been sent?
A: Yes, you can edit a deposit request only if it hasn’t been paid yet.
Q: Will my customer be notified when I edit the deposit?
A: No. If you update a sent invoice, you will need to resend it for your customer to receive the revised version. If you don’t resend it, they won’t be notified.
Q: Can I edit the deposit request after it has been paid?
A: No, once the deposit has been paid, it can no longer be edited to maintain accurate and secure financial records.
