How to cancel a subscription
Learn how to cancel your subscription with our step-by-step guide below. Follow the instructions to ensure your subscription is successfully canceled and to understand what happens next after cancellation.
Step 1: Click on your user icon.
Click your user icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
If you manage multiple companies, make sure you’ve selected the correct one before proceeding by simply clicking on the company listed.
Step 2: Click ‘Settings’.
Select ‘Settings’ from the options.
Step 3: Select the 'Subscription' tab.
Select the 'Subscription' tab.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Manage’ button.
On the right-hand side of your subscription section, click the 'Manage' button.
Step 5: Click ‘Back to Free plan’.
Click on ‘Back to Free plan’ to cancel your subscription.
Step 6: Click ‘Back to Free’.
To confirm the cancellation of your subscription, check the box acknowledging that you will lose the unlimited document creation feature, and then click the ‘Back to Free’ button.
Step 7: Select a reason for your cancellation.
Your feedback is important to us. Select a reason for your cancellation in the survey so we can identify areas for improvement and enhance our service for you and other users, then click ‘Done’.
Your subscription has now been canceled.
If you mistakenly canceled your subscription or wish to resubscribe before it expires, you can just click ‘Reactivate’ to subscribe again.
FAQ: Cancelling your Bookipi Web subscription for unlimited invoices
Q: If I cancel my subscription with one company, will this cancel my subscriptions for all companies on my account?
A: No, if you would like to cancel your subscription for multiple companies on your account, you will need to make sure to cancel your subscription for each company.
Q: If I cancel my subscription through the web app, will I still be charged if I'm on autopay?
A: Yes, even if you cancel your subscription through the web app, you may still be charged if you’re on autopay. To prevent further charges, please make sure to cancel the autopay directly with your bank.
Q: Will I lose access immediately after canceling?
A: No. You’ll continue to have access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.
Q: What happens to my data after I cancel?
A: Your data (invoices, documents, etc.) will remain in your account. However, access to premium features may be limited once your subscription ends.
Q: I don’t see the cancel subscription button. What should I do?
A: If you're having trouble managing your subscription, please check the following:
Ensure you are accessing the correct account associated with your subscription.
Confirm that you have selected the correct plan (Monthly or Yearly).
Go to the Subscription tab and click Manage to view your options.
If you subscribed through a third party (such as a mobile app store), you will need to manage or cancel your subscription directly through that platform.
