How to create a category in Bookipi Expense

Learn how to create a category in Bookipi Expense with these easy-to-follow steps.

Step 1: Open the Bookipi Expense app on your device and navigate to 'Settings' by tapping the icon in the upper right corner.

Step 2: Select 'Manage Categories'

From the Settings menu, tap on 'Manage Categories.'

Step 3: Choose the type of category you'd like to add—either 'Expense' or 'Income'.

Tap the 'plus' button to start adding a new category.

Step 4: Enter category details.

Enter the name of the category.

To customize, tap the icon next to the category name and choose an icon from the list.

Step 5: Save the category.

Tap the 'checkmark' icon in the upper right corner to save your new category.

Your new category will now be added and ready for use!
