How to delete a created category in Bookipi Expense

Learn how to delete a created category in the Bookipi Expense app with these easy-to-follow steps.

Step 1: Go to 'Settings'.

On the wallet homepage, tap the ‘Settings’ icon in the upper-right corner.

Step 2: Access ‘Manage Categories’

In the Settings menu, select ‘Manage Categories'.

Step 3: Delete the Category

Locate the category you want to delete and tap the ‘trash bin’ icon next to it.

Step 4: Confirm Deletion

Confirm the deletion by tapping ‘Yes!’.

The selected category will be permanently removed from your list.

A. No, once a category is deleted, it cannot be restored. If needed, you’ll have to manually recreate it.
