How to create an eSign document from an existing template

Make the signing process easy for both you and your customers, ensuring smooth and efficient operation for your business. Learn how to create an eSign document using a template with this simple guide on the eSign feature in Bookipi Web v2.

Step 1: Click ‘eSign’.

Click ‘eSign’ from the left panel menu.

Step 2: Click ‘Create’.

Click ‘Create’ located on the top right side of the screen.

Step 3: Click ‘Document from template’.

Click ‘Document from template’ to select existing templates.

Step 4: Select ‘My Template’ or ‘Template library’.

If you already have an existing template, click ‘My template’ and select a document template. If you don’t have a template yet, click ‘Template library’ to browse a variety of templates across different categories.

Hover your mouse over a template and select ‘Use’ to apply it.

To preview a template before using it, hover your mouse over the document and click the eye icon.

Once you’ve decided to use the template, click ‘Use template’.

Step 5: eSign step 1 - Add signers

Add the name and email address of the signer/s. You can click ‘+ Add signer’ if you want to add more signatories.

Step 6: Click ‘Next’.

Click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next step.

Step 7: eSign step 2 - Upload and tag

You can modify the text fields in the template and move or add text and tags for each signer based on the specific fields you want them to fill out. To make these changes, select the signer at the bottom of the page.

Step 8: Click ‘Next’.

Click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next step.

Step 9: eSign step 3 - Finish & send

Enter a name for your document and select a category. You also have the option to include other recipients of your document under the Add CC field.

Step 10: Save as a template or send your document.

If you’re not ready to send your document yet, click ‘Save as template’ to keep it as Draft. If you choose to send the document, click ‘Send’ and its status will update to Pending signature.

After clicking send, it will give you the option to save it as a template. Once your signers have completed signing the document, its status will be updated to Signed.
