Bookovia Cancellation Policy

At Bookovia, we strive to create a fair and transparent experience for both users and service providers. This Cancellation Policy outlines the rights, responsibilities, and conditions under which bookings may be canceled. By using Bookovia, you agree to comply with the terms below.
1. Cancellation by Users (Customers)
Free Cancellation Window
Users may cancel a booking free of charge up to 1 hour before the scheduled service time.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made within 30mins of the scheduled booking may incur a cancellation fee of 30% of the service price.
Cancellations After Provider Departure
If the provider has already departed for the customer’s location, up to 50% of the booking fee may be charged.
No-Shows
If a customer is unavailable or fails to attend the booking at the scheduled location and time, the booking will be marked as a No-Show, and the full booking fee will apply.
Refunds
Eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 2-5 business days, subject to payment provider processing times.
2. Cancellation by Service Providers
Provider Responsibility
Providers are expected to honor all confirmed bookings. Cancellations should only occur in unavoidable circumstances.
Late Provider Cancellations
If a provider cancels within 1 hour of the scheduled booking, this may:
Negatively impact the provider’s reliability score,
Reduce search visibility, and/or
Result in account review or suspension.
Emergency Allowance
Providers are permitted up to 2 emergency cancellations per month without penalty. Bookovia may request supporting information where appropriate.
User Compensation
In cases where a provider cancels at the last minute, Bookovia may offer compensation (e.g., a discount voucher) to the affected customer.
3. General Conditions
Exceptional Circumstances
Bookovia reserves the right to waive penalties for cancellations caused by exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, severe weather, or safety concerns).
Communication
All cancellations must be made directly through the Bookovia app. Cancellations made outside of Bookovia’s platform will not be considered valid.
Abuse of Policy
Repeated violations of this Cancellation Policy, by either users or providers, may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal from the Bookovia platform.

Simply log in to the Bookovia app, go to “My Bookings”, and select Cancel.
