✨ Please note: Payments can only be taken on the Lite plan or above.

Online payments

You can advertise prices and accept online payments on your trial or any paid plans (Lite and above).

To accept online payments, you first need to secure the services of one of our approved payment providers (Stripe, PayPal or WorldPay).

Your chosen provider takes a small transaction fee for its online payment infrastructure. The payments from your customers go directly into your payment provider account, which you can withdraw as per your chosen provider's terms.

πŸ’‘ Please note: We (Bookwhen) do not charge you any additional costs beyond your chosen plan's subscription cost. We also do not receive any revenue from your payments or any other incentives from the available payment providers.

Offline payments

You can also offer your customers the choice to pay manually offline, such as cash, direct debit, cheque, etc.

You can customise the offline payment options shown to customers at checkout and in their booking confirmation emails.

For example:

Once you receive payment, you can mark the booking as 'paid'.

πŸ’‘ To note: As offline payments are taken and managed outside of Bookwhen, you will need to manually record the payment on your account or chase your customer for any outstanding payments.
