πŸ’‘ Please note: You can only amend email addresses that show as Invalid. Please get in touch with us for any email addresses showing as Unverified.

This article covers:

Invalid email address

If a customer misspells their email address (or it doesn't exist), an Invalid email message will appear on their customer profile page. E.g.:

To find the customer profile to correct this, select the Customers tab from the left-hand menu and scroll to find the email address in the list, or you can use the search box to refine your search.

If using the search box, please be sure to select Search to generate the results:

Then select the hyperlinked email address to open their profile:

From here, select the Details tab within their customer page, then Edit underneath their email address:

Enter the correct email address, then Continue:

You can choose if you'd like to email the customer confirming the change by ticking/unticking the Send an email to the customer notifying them of the change checkbox:

Once amended, you can resend the customer's confirmation email for their upcoming bookings and confirm the email address.

πŸ’‘ Important notes:

  • This function is only available when we can positively identify invalid email addresses.

  • You should only use this function to update the invalid email address rather than transfer the profile to the email address of a different customer to avoid breaching GDPR (as amending this will merge their profiles to the new email address added).

Unverified email address

If you suspect an email is incorrect, but it isn't in red as invalid, you may notice an 'unverified' label next to it:

  • If this happens, please get in touch with support via live chat or email to request an updated email address, quoting both the email address as it is currently and what support should update this to.
