Please note: The Waiting List feature is available on the Standard Plan or above.

The Waiting List helps keep popular events full by notifying interested customers when a spot becomes available. This prevents empty spaces and allows more attendees to join.

You can also use the Waiting List to gauge interest in extra classes or connect with new customers.

This article covers:

Contacting people from your Waiting List

The waiting list comes into effect when the booking numbers reach the Maximum event size and the event becomes fully booked.

When this happens, rather than being given the option to book a ticket, your customer can the list by selecting Join waiting list:

Once selected, we require them to add their name and email address and optionally add their contact number:

If a space becomes available at your event, we automatically notify those on the waiting list.

Locating the list

You can find the list by selecting the entry within your Scheduling page and scrolling down:

You can copy email addresses directly from there, or you can export the Waiting List into a .csv (spreadsheet) format using the link at the bottom of the list:

💡 When messaging customers from the waiting list, it's important to keep GDPR rules in mind. You can generally contact them about the specific event they're interested in, but avoid adding them to mailing lists or reaching out for marketing unless they've given explicit consent.

Assessing interest for additional events using the Waiting List

Monitor your waiting lists regularly to assess demand trends and identify peak times.

If you have a lot of people waiting, you may wish to think about adding another similar event before or after the original one.

✨ You can also set up a 'waiting list-only' entry to gauge interest.
