Customers must enter a unique email address for each attendee at checkout. This ensures that each attendee has individual access to their booking and prevents duplicate bookings.

If youโ€™d prefer to allow multiple attendees under the same email address, there are a couple of workarounds:

This article covers:

Marking an attendee as a child

You can adjust your booking form settings within each entry to allow customers to skip additional email addresses for child attendees during checkout.

To do this:

  1. Open your Scheduling page.

  2. Select the entry from your schedule list, then Edit entry:

Scheduling setup with an arrow pointing to the 'Edit Entry' button.

  3. Select the Booking form tab and tick Yes under Will children be attending?:

Booking form tab of the entry setup with arrow pointing at 'Yes' under 'Will children be attending?'

  4. To set the entry as a 'child-only event', tick the Is it a child only event? checkbox. This means the system will automatically mark all attendees as children and won't request attendee email addresses:

'Will children be attending' setting with an arrow pointing at the 'is it a child only event?' checkbox

  5. Once finished, select Save or Save & Exit to save the updated entry settings.

๐Ÿ’ก Please note: You will need to repeat this step for all relevant entries.

Adjusting the Attendee details booking form

You can make the Attendee email optional or remove it altogether.

To do this:

  1. Open your Scheduling page.

  2. Select the entry from your schedule list, then Edit entry:

Scheduling setup with an arrow pointing to the 'Edit Entry' button.

  3. Select the Booking form tab, then Set mandatory fields:

  4. Then, tick any fields you wish to make mandatory. To make a field optional, keep the checkbox unticked:

  5. When finished, select Update and save your changes, then Save or Save & Exit to save your entry settings.

๐Ÿ’ก Making a field optional means customers can leave it blank.

Removing a booking form field

To remove a field:

  1. Open your Scheduling page.

  2. Select the entry from your schedule list, then Edit entry:

Scheduling setup with an arrow pointing to the 'Edit Entry' button.

  3. Select the Booking form tab, then Select & reorder fields:

Booking form tab of the entry settings with an arrow pointing at the 'Select & reorder fields' option

  4. There are two columns: Selected and Unselected.

    • To remove a field, select the minus (-) button next to it under the Selected column.

    • To add it back, select the plus (+) button next to it under the Unselected column.

Booking form tab of the entry settings showing the 'Selected' column highlighted

  5. Select Save form, then Save or Save & Exit to save the entry settings.

๐Ÿ’ก Removing the field from the booking form means it won't be shown to customers.
