If you use Stripe as your integrated payment provider, you can enable Onelink in your Stripe account, and customers have the option to pay using Onelink. Once enabled in Stripe, you do not need to take any further action in your Bookwhen account, as it automatically reflects your Stripe settings.
This article explains how Onelink payments work with your Bookwhen and Stripe integration.
What is Onelink?
Stripe’s Onelink feature (previously named "Link") provides your customers with a faster checkout experience. During checkout, customers can create a Onelink profile to save their payment details. This allows their card information and addresses to be automatically filled in for future purchases.
💡 To note: Onelink is available in both the iframe and your standalone Bookwhen public page.
Onelink processing fees
Onelink availability and fees vary by product and location, but typically start at:
1.5% + 20p for standard cards in the UK
1.9% + 20p for premium cards in the UK

How Onelink is displayed upon checkout
At first glance, the payment page looks like for regular Stripe payments:
Once all details, such as the card number, expiration date, security code, country and postal code, are completed, the view will expand to include the Onelink option.
💡 Please note: The secure 1-click checkout with Onelink is optional. However, if customers decide to provide their phone number, they agree to the Onelink account creation based on their Terms and Privacy Policy.
For customers with an existing Onelink account based on the booker email address, the payment collection will default to the verification via Onelink:
The verification process typically defaults to text via the mobile number linked to the Onelink account.
💡 If the contact or card details are no longer up to date, customers can update their information with Onelink.
After entering the 6-digit verification code, the card details will be populated automatically based on the info stored within Onelink:
Selecting the green Pay button should complete the payment and checkout.
