✨ Please note: The Membership feature is only available on the Standard Plan and above, using Stripe as their integrated payment provider.

Accessing membership reports helps you monitor performance, track usage, and understand customer activity. This information supports informed decisions about pricing, promotions, and member benefits.

This article explains where to access membership reporting and how to use it effectively.

Reporting with the Customer list

The Customer list provides a detailed overview of your memberships. You can use filters to refine the data and generate insightful reports based on your needs.

You can filter by:

  • Membership: Search for customers in a specific membership.

  • Membership status: Search for customers by membership status (active, cancelled, due to cancel, payment failed).

  • Membership number: Search for customers by membership number.

To do this:

  1. Select Customers from the left-hand menu on your account.

  2. Select the Filter by drop-down menu:

Customer tab with an arrow pointing at the 'Filter by' drop-down menu in the search bar

  3. Select your filter option, for example, Membership status, Membership number and Memberships, selecting Add after each one to add it to the search bar:

Customers tab with the membership status filter section highlighted

  4. Select the data that you would like to search, then Search to generate the results.

  5. The results will show in the list, and you can export this list in a spreadsheet format by selecting the Options drop-down menu, then Export customers (CSV):

Customers tab with an arrow pointing at the 'Export customers (CSV)' option selected

  6. A loading screen will appear, where you can either wait for the report to generate or select Email report to have it sent to your email address so you can navigate away:

Report loading screen with an arrow pointing at the 'Email report' button

  7. If you choose to wait for the report to generate, a new screen will appear with the message "Report is ready to download." Select Download to save the report to your device:

πŸ’‘ Important note

  • If you have manually added customers to a membership-based customer group, those customers won't appear in the membership filters, as it only shows customers with payment records.

  • To view a complete customer list, use the customer group filter.

Membership Overview

The membership overview page allows you to view the total number of active memberships. To do this:

  1. Select Packages & Discounts, then Memberships from the left-hand menu on your account.

  2. The active customers figure will outline how many members are on the membership:

Memberships screen with 'No active customers' highlighted

  3. If you have active customers, select the View button and scroll down to the Memberships section to review all active members.
