What is a direct dial in BookYourData?

Written by Mark Giz

BookYourData defines a direct dial as a person's own business number at their desk. A direct dial is not the company's main line and not the person's mobile number. The term is known by 2 other names: direct line and direct phone number.

A direct dial connects a caller straight to the person they want to reach. With a company's main line, a caller goes through a receptionist or a phone menu first. A direct dial removes that step.

BookYourData offers Direct Dials, a done-for-you service that finds direct dials and mobile numbers for the people a buyer names. The buyer names the people to call by job title, company and country. The service is described at bookyourdata.com/direct-dials.
