Boom prioritizes two primary support channels:

  1. Chat:

    1. Website: Use the chat function in the bottom right corner of this screen or request to chat in the Boom app.

    2. In the Boom app: Tap on the person icon on the top left corner of the app, and select “Help & support” to chat with our team.

  2. Email: you can contact Boom at hello@boompay.app

Boom does provide phone support, but only for credit reporting-related inquiries and only if you schedule a call beforehand. You may contact Boom at 415-940-7235. Once you get to voicemail, please leave your name, email, and a brief description of your credit reporting issue, and a Boom team member will text or email you back to schedule a credit reporting troubleshooting call.

Please note: We are scheduling these calls at least 7 days out. If our team determines the inquiry is not related to credit reporting (e.g. refund request, general product question, etc.) it will not be reponded to.

On average, you can expect the following wait times to reach support:

  • Chat/email: 5 minutes

  • Phone: 7-10 days
