Adjusting Forced Registration Prompts
There are two squeeze opportunities on the site; one being specific to photos viewed and the other being specific to the full property detail pages:
1. Photo squeeze: Number of photos that can be viewed (for example: scrolling photo bar)
2. Property details page squeeze: Number of /homes/ pages that can be viewed (a full details page)
The default setting for these opportunities would prompt the visitor to register on the 4th photo and 2nd full property details page. In regards to these registration prompts, we do not have the ability to remove them altogether. While you do have the opportunity to change these, we highly recommend against pushing these numbers out. Please know that our internal consumer teams are constantly testing and monitoring at what points sites are seeing people register and have the defaults set to those parameters.
We have rolled out a custom squeeze parameter that our clients can use to manipulate the registration form within a certain URL string. Using a unique link, you can customize the registration form prompts for each visitor by session. For example, let's say you wanted to promote a specific listing on your Facebook Page. You can alter the URL of that listing to include a custom squeeze parameter, so anyone who clicks on that link from your Facebook post would be allowed to see every photo within that particular listing before being prompted to register. Here is an article on how to create this type of link: Tools - Create Tracking Links
