Overview
The NOW Panel (or Opportunity Wall) combines key functions with accessibility to make you more productive! The Opportunity Wall is a real time list of high quality leads that BoomTown deems as top opportunities via a patent-pending algorithm that considers lead behavior on your site.
It's perfect for that hour or so when you're in between appointments, but the Opportunity Wall is not designed to replace your Lead List. While there's still a huge value in working every lead, the Opportunity Wall helps you prioritize your workflow!
The number associated with your NOW icon in the top menu will display how many opportunities you have that need to be addressed in your Opportunity Wall.
Located in your top menu bar, toward the right-hand side of the page, within the Opportunity Wall, you'll find opportunities based on key actions your lead takes on the site as well as the quality of the lead.
The quality of the lead is gauged by the validity of their contact information, activity on the site and level of communication.
To keep your opportunities organized, there are three different tabs:
Live Feed
Acted On
Dismissed
Act On Opportunities
If there is an opportunity in your list that you would like to act on, click on the opportunity in your list to view the Opportunity Details Page.
Once there, you can take action on the lead. Some actions can be found through the phone icon, and the drop-down menu in the right-hand corner of the page.
The following actions taken on a given lead will count as the lead being Acted On:
Logging a call
Adding a note
Sending a text message
Sending an email
Changing the lead category
Only these specific actions, taken through the Opportunity Details Page will mark the lead as having been Acted On. The same actions taken through the lead's profile page will not result in a lead being marked as Acted On.
When one of the above actions has been taken through the Opportunity Details Page, the lead will then automatically be moved to the Acted On tab of your NOW Panel.
Opportunities that have been moved to Acted On from the Live Feed tab of your NOW Panel will be cleared out each night.
Lead Opportunities
Your NOW Panel (also referred to as the Opportunity Wall) will be accessible through the NOW icon in the right-hand corner of the page.
The number next to it will display how many opportunities you have that need to be addressed in your Opportunity Wall.
Your NOW Panel displays lead opportunities so that you can take quick action on the leads listed.
To keep your opportunities organized, there are three different tabs:
Live Feed | These are opportunities as they happen. By default, all of the opportunity types will display on the live feed list, with the exception of Browsing. You can modify which opportunity types display in the Live Feed by clicking on the filter icon on the right-hand side of the page. |
Acted On | To refer to all opportunities that you have acted on today and to see a quick note about the action you took, select the Acted On tab. |
Dismissed | To refer to the opportunities you dismissed today, select the |
Opportunities that have been dismissed or acted on in the Live Feed tab of your NOW Panel will be cleared out each night.
The opportunity types included in the NOW Panel are:
High Priority Opportunities |
|
|
| High Interest | Displays when a lead has shown recent interest in one or more listings, and has taken actions on those properties - such as marking the property as a Favorite, viewing it multiple times, using the Mortgage Calculator, and viewing the property on the mobile site in close proximity to the property itself. |
| High Interest in Agency Listing | Displays when a lead has shown recent interest in one of your Agency's listings and has taken actions on the property like above. |
| Renewed Interest | Displays when a lead who has been inactive on the site (for over 60 days) returns to your site. |
| New Lead/ Just Registered | Displays when a new lead registers and is assigned to you. |
| New Lead/ Returned To Site | Displays when a lead who registered within about a week, but who you have not been in contact with, returns to the site. When we refer to a lead that you have not been in contact with, this does not mean you haven't attempted contact. It means that you have not received an email from the lead and have also not logged a call as talked to prospect. |
Lower Priority Opportunities |
|
|
| Browsing | Displays anytime a leads returns to your site. Browsing simply means that the lead recently returned to your site.
Note that an on site now alert will display anytime a lead is on your site in conjunction with ALL opportunities. |
| e-Alert | Displays when a lead updates their e-Alert preferences. |
Opportunities are sorted by an algorithm that weighs the type of opportunity it is as well as how long the opportunity has been in the Live Feed. Based on this, opportunities will not necessarily appear in chronological order on the Opportunity Wall.
Opportunity Details
To view more information on each opportunity, simply click on the opportunity in your NOW Panel.
On the Opportunity Details Page you'll find key information, like your lead's registration information, their recently viewed properties, and your recent communication to them.
To view additional information about the lead, including the lead's contact information, source, and location (based on their IP address), click on More About This Lead to expand for the details.
You can view recent communication with the lead, including logged calls and emails, by clicking on Recent Communication to expand that section.
You'll also see customized information for each opportunity type on this page.
For example, if a High Interest opportunity is displaying, this will include details about the property, along with the lead details.
Dismiss Opportunities
If there's an opportunity that you want to remove from your NOW Panel, in the right-hand corner of each opportunity there's an option to Dismiss.
Select the Dismiss button, and a pop-up modal will display options for how long you want to dismiss the lead for:
Once you've made your selection, the lead will be moved to the Dismissed tab on your Opportunity Wall.
You can view the opportunities you've dismissed by clicking on the Dismissed tab.
Opportunities that have been dismissed from the Live Feed tab of your Opportunity Wall will be cleared out each night. So if you've dismissed an opportunity by accident, make sure you check under the Dismissed tab to act on it before the end of the day!
