Adding a third party to a call

Add a third party to an active call as a requestor, on the web app, the InterpretManager mobile app, or over IVR.

Written by Quinn Bott

Requestors can add a third party (such as another participant) to a call. This article covers doing it on web, mobile, and IVR.

Using the web app

1. Select the + in the upper-right corner.

2. Select the Country you’re dialing, then enter the phone number.

Note: Third-party dial-out isn’t supported for all country area codes. If the number requires an extension or phone tree, use the secondary dialer (greyed out unless available).

Using the InterpretManager mobile app

Using IVR

Before searching for interpreters, the IVR prompts you to enter a phone number. Enter the number including the country code (1 for US), then press #.

Note: If you don’t hear this option, it’s due to your account configuration — interpreters can still dial out on your behalf once connected.

· For requestors: if you can’t dial a third party, confirm the country is supported and let your LSC admin or Account Manager know.
