Zoom (For Partners) - How to add an audio interpreter to a Zoom virtual meeting

Step-by-step guide for inviting an on-demand audio interpreter into a live Zoom meeting by email invitation.

Written by Quinn Bott

These instructions only apply to inviting interpreters directly from Zoom. You are not able to transition an existing call between the Boostlingo Platform and Zoom platform.

Share unique email addresses with requestors

Once you have set up Zoom policies and attached them to individual accounts and requestors email addresses will be generated that users can invite to their Zoom meetings. These email addresses represent the pool of interpreters matching the language pair and service type set during configuration.

To access these emails for an account go to Accounts > Select an individual account > then scroll all the way to the right at the top of the accounts flyout to select "integrations"

Under the Zoom header you will see unique email addresses for the assigned requestors, language pairs, and service types. These can be shared with requestors. Many clients will add them to their contacts to make adding interpreters quicker during a Zoom meeting. If you ever need to invalidate an existing address you can do this from this same page by clicking the refresh signal next to the email address on the far right. This will generate a new address, voiding the existing address.
