You can view information about changes relevant to a particular invoice in the History tab of the invoice viewer:

(created, sent for approval, rejected, approved, paid, etc...)
Rate Changes
(with details)
Notes Added to entries on invoice
Entity Detached from an invoice
Once the invoice is no longer in Draft status
