Can Booth.Events do virtual events or upload my own photos outside of the software?
Can Booth.Events do virtual events or upload my own photos outside of the software?
Booth.Events currently only supports photo capture, sharing, and gallery creation directly through the app during a live event. Uploading custom photos taken outside of the platform or running fully virtual events is not supported at this time. We’re always exploring new features, so if virtual events or external photo uploads are important to you, we’d love to hear your feedback - it helps guide future updates!

What is Included in my 3 Free Events?
What is Included in my 3 Free Events?
Each free event includes:
1. Gallery access for 7 days
After seven days, the gallery expires and all photos and videos are permanently deleted. There’s no way to recover expired content, so be sure to download anything you want to keep before the expiry date.
2. Up to 100 photos or videos
Each free event can hold a maximum of 100 media items. If you go over this limit, the app will continue to function, but new uploads will stop. You’ll still be able to print or use AirDrop, and photos/videos will be saved to the iPad’s Camera Roll. This will be shown on the iPad screen in a banner that cannot be removed.
3. Limited SMS sharing
Free events allow text message sharing, but only to supported countries (most of continental North America is included).
4. One iPad license
Free events can be run on one iPad. If you have additional iPads or want to use iPhones at the same time, you’ll need to upgrade your plan.
5. Online support
You’ll still have access to our Help Center and support team if you run into any issues.

Can I shoot Tethered? What Models support this?
Can I shoot Tethered? What Models support this?
Booth.Events allows you to connect your camera directly for seamless tethered shooting - no additional software required.
Canon Cameras
Booth.Events supports tethering with many Canon models, including:
Canon M50
Canon R100
Canon 80D and newer
With these models, pressing the shutter release on the camera captures images directly into the app. For best performance, use a single-photo template.
Sony Cameras
Compatibility has been confirmed with the Sony ZV-E10. Other Sony models may also work, but we recommend testing with your specific camera first.
Nikon Cameras
Some Nikon models support direct tethering; however, we do not maintain an official compatibility list at this time.
Try Before You Buy
Every account includes three free events, allowing you to:
Test your camera setup
Confirm tethering compatibility
Become familiar with the workflow before committing to a paid plan
This is ideal for verifying support with your exact camera model in your own environment.

Update your DNP WCM2 to v3
Update your DNP WCM2 to v3
In mid-2023 DNP released a free update for the WCM2 unit, which updates its firmware version to v3.
To install this update please follow these instructions from DNP: https://dnpphoto.com/Portals/0/Resources/WCM2_v3_release_notes_20230511.pdf
Note: you'll need to make sure the micro-SD card installed in your WCM unit is at least 32GB or larger. Some units shipped with a 32GB card, so power the unit off, pop the micro-SD card out and check what size it is.
This update greatly improves the ability to connect your iPad, printer, & internet all together at once, and is required for wired networking/printing via Ethernet. We highly recommend installing this update.
