The goal of this document is to familiarize you with Bottleneck’s core functional, key concepts, and how the system supports both manufacturers and their clients.
Within a manufacturer, different individuals will interact with different parts of Bottleneck:
Shipping & Receiving staff will record inbound and outbound shipments within the Shipping and Receiving modules.
Procurement staff will issue and track purchase orders.
Production staff will schedule and complete work orders
Sales teams will issue and manage sales orders and purchase orders.
Quality Control staff will record and manage QC forms.
