To start using BOULEVARD, you will need to build your existing members register and ensure it matches with the capital structure information provided by ASIC.
You can import your register into BOULEVARD through spreadsheet upload by following the steps below:
Click on the Register link on the left sidebar.
On the Register page, click on the Import button (Image 1).

3. Click Download template in the Import Register modal (Image 2). This will automatically download the Members register upload template.

4. Select the sheet from the tabs at the bottom of the page based on the type of shareholder to be imported (Image 3). There are two (2) sheets in the spreadsheet that each have different fields to enter. There is also a sheet with instructions and formatting guidelines.

Ensure you follow the formatting guidelines below to successfully upload your register.
Formatting Guidelines
Enter the investor type code from the following four investor types:
Sophisticated (S): Investors that hold a certificate from a qualified accountant certifying they have a prescribed net asset or gross income level. Required if investment is greater than $10,000.
Crowd-sourced (C): Investors who have participated via a crowd-sourced funding raise. Maximum investment amount $10,000 per year.
Retail (R): Investors who are non-sophisticated and did not participate in crowd-sourced fundraise round, e.g. friends and family.
Employee (E): Investors who are current employees of the company or of a subsidiary company.
First names field can contain letters, spaces, numbers and special characters except & ~ ` ^ [ ]. Enter the first name, second and third name in this field. Maximum length including spaces is 60 characters.
Last name can contain letters, spaces, numbers and special characters except & ~ ` ^ [ ]. Maximum length is 30 characters.
Postcode should contain only letters, numbers, spaces and dashes. Maximum length is 10 characters.
The ACN/ARBN is 9 digits and is required for companies with Australian addresses. Companies without an ACN/ARBN must have a foreign address.
State should contain only letters and spaces.
Country should contain only letters and spaces.
Transaction Date should be formatted in dd/mm/yyyy format.
Use the share class code not the share class name. The Share class code can be found in brackets next to the Share Class name in the Capital Structure. (Image 4)

5. Enter the shareholder and transaction details. Refer to the notes on the Instructions tab on the spreadsheets for more details on specific fields.
Note: Joint shareholders and multiple contacts are not supported in the spreadsheet. For these investors, you can add them to the register by allocating the shares manually.
6. Once you have finished entering your members register data, convert the sheet to CSV format and save to your computer (Image 5).
a. If you are using MSExcel: click 'Save As' from the File menu, and select File. Format 'Comma-separated Values (.csv)' and then click Save.

7. Return to the Register page on BOULEVARD and click on the Import Button.
8. Click 'Choose File' and select the .csv file you saved and click 'Import'.
9. Repeat steps 3 - 8 for additional owner types.
10. Refresh the page and the Capital Structure from Current BOULEVARD Register should update and your shareholders transactions will appear in the register table (Image 7).

Once your Capital Structure from ASIC matches the Capital Structure the current BOULEVARD Register, you should see a message confirming that they both match.
