Manually vest or schedule vesting events for Options

Learn how to manually vest or schedule vesting events for options on BOULEVARD

If you have selected manual based vesting when granting options, you can manually vest options for a date in the past or schedule future vesting events.

If you selected time based vesting in an options grant, you can delete future vesting events and add new vesting events using the steps below.

To manually vest option grants, or schedule future vesting events:

  1. Click on the Register link in the left sidebar.

  2. On the Register page, click on the Options tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

  3. On the Options register, select the optionholder in the list that you want to vest options for (Image 1).

4. On the investor's holding page, select the options grant you want to manually vest (Image 2).

5. On the Options grant details page, click on the 'Vest' tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page (Image 3).

On the Vest options page, you'll be able to see how many options are available to vest (Image 4).

6. Enter the number of options you want to create a vesting event for.

7. Enter the vesting date (if a date in the past is selected the options will vest immediately).

8. Click on the 'Vest' button.

9. In the Confirm vesting window, review the manual vesting details and click 'Confirm' (Image 5).

10. When you Click confirm, you will see the new vested event in the table below, the vesting event table shows (Image 6):

  • Vesting event

  • Vesting date

  • Vesting amount

  • Cumulative vesting

  • Exercise date

  • Exercised

  • Cumulative exercised

  • Status

The number of options available to vest and the bar graph will be updated based on the number of options vested and options available to vest.

When you return to the Options register, the number vested will also be updated if the created vesting event was in the past (Image 7).
