Before you can start issuing notes, you will need to create your Note. You can learn more about creating notes by clicking here.
To issue notes to an investor, follow the steps below. You can issue notes to both existing and new investors:
Click on the Register link in the left sidebar.
On the Register page, click on the 'Issue’ button in the Noteholders panel

3. On the Issue Notes Page, select the Existing Investor or New Investor Button (Image 2). Existing shareholders refer to those already in your share, notes or options registers.
If you are issuing notes to an existing Investor:
a. Select the existing investor option.
a. To search for a name of an existing investor start typing in the search box. A list matching the text entered will appear as you type. (Image 2).
b. Select the investor you want to issue the note to, and skip to step 4.

If you are issuing notes to a new investor:
a. Select from the following types of investor types (Image 3):
Sophisticated
Crowd-sourced
Retail
Employee
b. Select from the following owner types:
Individual
Joint
Company
c. Enter the investor data
d. Click 'Next'

4. Select the Note that is being issued in the drop down menu. All the notes you have created will appear in this list (Image 4).

5. Enter the Investment amount (Image 5).
6. Enter the Issue Date, and click 'Next'.

7. Review the transaction details and click the 'Issue Note' button (Image 6).

When you click 'Issue Note', a 'Notes Issued' window (Image 7) will be displayed. You can choose to View the Investor or Issue More Notes.

The new investor will now appear in the Noteholders list on the Notes register (Image 8).

You can now invite your new noteholders on BOULEVARD by following the same steps when inviting a shareholder here.
If you have already invited the investor as a shareholder, they will automatically be able to view the ‘Notes’ as a new panel on their shareholding page (Image 9).
