Before you can transfer shares to and from investors, you will need to ensure that your ASIC Connection is activated. If the ASIC connection is not active the transfer button on the register page will be in active.

To transfer shares:
1. Click on the Register link in the left sidebar.
2. On the Register page, click on the 'Transfer Shares' button.

3. On the Transfer Shares page, choose the 'Transfer from Shareholder' by searching for the name of an existing investor. (Image 3).
4. Select the existing investor you want to transfer shares from and click 'Next' to enter the 'Transfer to' details.

5. In the 'Transfer to' section, if you're transferring shares to an existing investor (Image 4):
Select the Existing Investor option.
Search the name of the existing investor in the 'Name of Shareholder' box.
Select the Existing Investor you are transferring shares to.

6. If you're transferring shares to a new investor (Image 5):
Select the 'New Investor' option
Select from the following types of investor types
Sophisticated
Crowd-sourced
Retail
Employee
Select from the following owner types:
Individual
Joint
Company
Enter the investor details
Click "Next'

7. Select a method to calculate your price per share (Image 6)

8. If you have selected the 'Calculate using total paid amount' method (Image 7):
a. Enter the total paid amount and number of shares in the field provided.
b. The price per share will be calculated up to four decimal points.

9. If you have selected the 'Calculate using Price per share' method (Image 8):
a. Enter a share price up to 4 decimal points in the 'price per share' field (if the price per share has already been set, the 'price per share' field will be automatically populated)
b. Enter the number of shares.

10. Edit the date of Transfer if the shares were transferred at an earlier date. (Choosing a date 28 days or more will display a warning message in the past may result in an ASIC late fee).
11. Click the next button.
12. Review all the shareholder and transaction details, and click 'Transfer Shares' (Image 9).

The register will be updated and the details of the transaction will be reported to ASIC.
After the shares are successfully transferred', a 'Shares Transferred' window (Image 10) will be displayed.
