This guide offers step-by-step instructions on how to manage the visibility of a guest list for an event through Bounce. This can be useful for creating momentum for your event by controlling who can see your guest list. Only the following event editors have access to hide or display an event's guest list:
Event Hosts
Event Cohosts
Event Operators
Typically, event hosts choose to display the guest list once a certain portion of ticket sales or RSVPs have been achieved, to create a feeling of FOMO amongst potential attendees, and to showcase who is already going to the event.
Step 1:
Start by navigating to the page of an upcoming event. Here, you will see details of your selected event.
Step 2:
Next, click on 'Manage Event,' followed by selecting 'Edit Details'. Now, navigate to the Advanced settings page within the event editing workflow.
Step 3:
On the Advanced settings page, go to the 'Privacy Settings' section. Here you will have the option to manage the visibility of your guest list. Click on 'Hide Guest List' to restrict visibility to event hosts and editors.
Step 4:
Additionally, you can toggle this option off at any time to allow broad visibility of your guest list.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly manage the visibility of your guest list for an event on Bounce. This control can be instrumental in generating buzz for your events and attracting new attendees.
