Ticket purchase requests allow you to review and approve, or reject, ticket purchasers before they're added to your event's guest list.

Step 1:

To start, either create a new event page or access an existing one. For this guide, we will be accessing an existing event page. Note that you must be an organizer, operator, or host to edit an event page.

Step 2:

To add a request ticket tier, click on 'Manage Event'.

Step 3:

Next, click on 'Edit Details'.

Step 4:

Then, click on 'Pricing Tiers'.

Step 5:

In the 'Pricing Tiers' section, you can click into each individual tier and designate it as a ticket request tier. This means purchasers will require your approval before being accepted into the event guest list. For this guide, we'll click into the 'General Admission' tier.

Step 6:

To add a ticket request process, toggle "On" the "Require approval" option.

  • Note: You also have the option to add a screening question that ticket purchasers who are requesting to join your event must answer.

Step 7:

This ticket purchase request option can be added to as many public or private ticket tiers as you wish on a Bounce event.

Once you've successfully added the ticket purchase request tier, you'll see a thumbs up emoji and "Requires approval" next to the number of tickets sold or number of RSVPs.

Step 8:

As an event host, you now have the ability to review and approve ticket purchasers before they're accepted into your event. After adding this feature, you will see a request list on the event page.

Step 9:

You can now accept or reject any ticket purchaser trying to purchase a ticket or RSVP to your event.

To accept or reject a ticket purchaser, simply click the thumbs up emoji to accept, and the thumbs down emoji to reject. Once you've accepted a ticket purchaser, they will be added to the event's guest list.

Step 10:

In this demo event, there are 144 outstanding ticket requests that need to be reviewed by the host, and 4 purchasers who have been accepted on the guest list.

And that's it! You've now learned how to add a ticket request capability and review process to a Bounce event.
