For Event Hosts
As an event host, your experience on Bounce's web platform and mobile app is nearly identical. Both allow you to:
- Create events.
- Add events within Bounce organizations or associations.
- Access existing event pages.
- View affiliated information for your events.
- Check event analytics.
- Review financials.
- Use most of the popular Bounce features, like Invite Back, SMS Blast, etc.
However, the web platform offers two unique capabilities for event hosts:
The ability to bulk upload photos or moments
The ability to download an event's CSV export (aka guest list file)
These features are exclusive to the web and not available on the mobile app.
For Users
As a Bounce user, the experience is similar across the web and mobile app. Users are encouraged to download the mobile app, where it's easier to discover new events around you, to receive social notifications based on friend's activities, and to upload content before, during and after events. If an event you attend publishes a photo album, you can only view the individual event's album on the mobile app.
That said, there are two key differences when attending a Bounce event:
The moments album is only accessible on individual event pages in the mobile app. If you are a member of an organization, you can view your organization's moments albums on the mobile app, and web.
The ability to upload a bucket list is exclusive to the mobile app.
By understanding these distinctions, you can make the most of Bounce, whether you're an event host or a user.
