Event contracts are school-to-school agreements for hosted competitions. When a host sends your school a contract, you can accept it, decline it, or request a change to the date, time, or other details.
Accept, Decline, or Request a Change to a Contract
Contracts waiting on your school show You - Awaiting Signature in the Contract column. If your school is the primary host, your primary signatory's name, title, and signature are printed on the contract. See Set Up Your School's Contract Signature below.
Open a Contract
Go to Events -> Contracts.
Find a contract that shows You - Awaiting Signature, and click the green arrow button at the start of its row.
The contract opens in a new tab. Review the competitions, fee, and terms.
To respond to a single competition instead of the whole contract, use the ACCEPT and DECLINE buttons on that competition's row.
Accept a Contract
Click ACCEPT AGREEMENT.
Check Signee Name, Signee Email, and Signed. Change them if someone else is signing.
Click Submit.
Request a Change
Need a different date or time? Use REQUEST CHANGE instead of declining. The contract stays pending, and your school stays on the event.
Click REQUEST CHANGE. The Submit Change Request form opens on the same page.
Choose a Priority Level: High Priority, Medium Priority, or Low Priority. High Priority requests notify the event's hosts immediately.
Choose a Change Category: Schedule Change, Deletion Request, or Miscellaneous.
In Request Body, describe the change you need.
Click Submit Request.
The request is logged on the event, and every host of the event gets an email with your requested changes.
Note: If you opened the contract from an email link without signing in, you can't request a change from that page. Sign in to Bound Manager and use REQUEST CHANGE on the contract.
Tip: You can also request a change from the event's Make Change Request tab.
Decline a Contract
NOTE: Declining removes your school from the event. To ask for a different date or time, use REQUEST CHANGE instead.
Click DECLINE AGREEMENT.
(Optional) In Contract Decline Reason (optional), enter your reason for declining. This note goes to the AD who created the contract and isn't for back-and-forth. To ask for a change, use REQUEST CHANGE instead.
Check Signee Name, Signee Email, and Signed.
Check the Remove my school and teams from all competitions where I declined the contract. setting. When it's on, your school and teams are removed from the competitions you declined.
Click Submit.
View Contracts
Go to Events -> Contracts. The list shows each event's contract status:
Contract: The contract's status, such as You - Awaiting Signature, Opponent - Pending, or No Contract.
Accepted: The schools that accepted the contract.
Awaiting: The schools that haven't accepted yet.
Tip: If a contract doesn't appear, click the Date filter and choose a longer range, such as Rest Of School Year.
Filter Contracts by Status
Click Add Filter -> Contracting, and choose a status: No Contract, Awaiting Signature, Accepted, Declined, Pending, or Requires Approval.
Set Up Your School's Contract Signature
Go to Events -> Setup -> Contracting.
In Contract Signatory, enter the signatory's Title, Name, and Email. You can add up to three signatories.
Add a signature in one of these ways:
Draw it in the Signature box, then click Save Canvas Drawing.
Click Upload Signature Image. Upload signatures against a white background.
Select Primary for the signatory who signs your contracts. The primary signatory's name, title, and signature are printed on your event contracts.
Click Save Signatory.
To add your primary signature to upcoming contracts you host that haven't been signed yet, click Apply my signature to pending contracts. Contracts that are already signed stay unchanged.
The contract signatory is separate from your Contract Recipients, who receive all contract emails. The person who signs contracts doesn't need to be a contract recipient.
Print a Contract
Go to Events -> Contracts.
Click the printer button at the start of the contract's row. The printable contract opens in a new tab.
Send a Contract
Note: Setup Contract appears next to your school when it's the event's Primary Host. If your school is a Host but not the primary host, you see Manage Contracts and Request to be Primary Host instead.
In Events, find the event you're sending the contract for.
Click Hosting on the event, then click Setup Contract next to your school.
In Contract Setup, check the Title and Disclaimer. Any text set to {opponent} is replaced by the school's name in the contract.
Choose a Fee Type: Per Event, Per Competition, or None. Enter the Fee Amount.
(Optional) Upload a PDF of your contract under PDF Contract.
Under Parties, click each school you're sending the contract to. Schools that aren't selected appear greyed out. You must select at least one party.
Click Publish Contract.
