When a student registers under the wrong activity, Move Registration re-points that registration at the right registration, option, and program. Nothing is refunded and nobody re-registers. Payments, discounts, orders, receipts, signed documents, and submitted answers all stay with the registration.
Move Registration is a Bound admin action. It sits at the bottom of an individual registration and carries a Bound Admin badge. School administrators do not have it, so wrong-program requests from schools come to us.
Move a Registration
Go to Students -> Registration and open the registration the student signed up under.
Click Registrations, then click the edit icon on the student's row.
Scroll to Move Registration at the bottom of the page.
Set Move to registration to the destination registration. The list holds every registration for the school.
Set Option to the option on that registration. This list stays empty until a registration is chosen.
Leave Program on Use the program on the chosen registration/option.
Set it manually only when the target registration points at the wrong program, or at none. Each entry names the owning school in parentheses, which is how you tell identically named programs apart.
Leave Stage on Keep the current stage unless the move should also change the stage.
Click Preview move.
In the pop-up, compare the Now and After the move columns for Registration, Option, Program, and Stage.
Program rosters names what changes: the student is added to the destination program and deleted from the old one.
Before you continue counts any existing answers the target option does not ask for. Those answers stay on the registration but are no longer shown anywhere.
Check I have read the warnings above, then click Move registration.
ⓘ The preview is the only safeguard. Read both columns before confirming.
Note: Money never moves. No payment, refund, discount, or receipt is changed, and the registration shows the new option at the price that was actually charged.
