Learn how to use the new s700 card reader gate and payment app for transactions at the gate.

Selling Tickets

  1. When the Gate and Payment app is properly loaded onto your device, it should load and show your school on the initial screen once the s700 reader has loaded. Once you see the screen that says "Select School" select your school.


  2. A list of upcoming events that have tickets tied to them taking place at your school should pop up. Select the event that you are wishing to sell/scan tickets for.

  3. To sell tickets for an event, simply use the plus and minus signs to adjust the tickets needed. Once the correct amount of tickets has been added, verify that the charge total looks correct and tap "Charge".

  4. Have the customer tap, insert, or swipe their card. After the transaction is successful, the screen will automatically return to the screen to select tickets for the next customer.


Scanning QR Codes for Tickets

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 in the selling tickets section above to get the reader to the correct event which you are scanning tickets for.

  2. Click on the "Scan Tickets" tab.

  3. Point the camera toward the QR code.

  4. Tap on the activate button to activate the tickets you wish to scan in. Then click done.


How to enter "Device Settings" on the s700 Gate App

The s700 Gate and Purchase app requires a new path to get into the settings area for the reader. This area is where you would go if you need to get a new device registration code, switch the WiFi, or check other settings.

To go to settings, you need to be on your events page, then click on the gear icon on the top right corner of the screen. In order to enter settings, enter the code 0-7-1-3-9 on the pop up screen.

If you need to access the settings from inside of an event, you will need click on the home icon in order to get to the events page to click on the settings wheel.
