How to control the notifications you receive from the Bound app.

Notifications on the new Bound app can be easily managed to ensure that you are getting the notifications you want.

Notifications can be managed in two separate locations:

  1. The individual School or Team/Activity Page.

  2. The Settings area within your Notifications area.

Managing notifications on a Team/Activity Page

If you haven't already followed the team or activity:

  1. Tap the star icon to follow the team or activity.

  2. From the options presented, tap into an option to change the desired settings.

  3. By default, notifications for all categories are set to "App" push notifications. If you wish to receive email notifications or text notifications, tap to turn them on.

  4. Tap the back caret "<" once your selections are made.

  5. Tap "Done" to confirm your notification settings.

  6. You will receive a notification that you have Favorited that team or activity and the bell icon will appear, indicating that your notification preferences have been set.

Managing notification settings within the Notifications area

  1. Tap on the side drawer icon in the top right corner of any page where this icon appears.

  2. Tap on the "Notifications" menu item in the side drawer.

  3. Tap on the gear icon in the top right corner of the notifications area.

  4. Tap on an item in the list to manage the notifications for that school or team/activity.

  5. From the options presented, tap into an option to change the desired settings.

  6. By default, notifications for all categories are set to "App" push notifications. If you wish to receive email notifications or text notifications, tap to turn them on.

  7. Tap "Done" to confirm your notification settings.
