How to Update Your Bound Username

Your email address becomes your Bound Username when you create a Bound User Account. Follow these steps to update/change your Bound Username.

Step 1: Login to your Bound account.

  • Your Username can be changed from either the public or admin dashboards.

Step 2: Click on your Profile Icon - this should display your initials or the profile picture you have added.

  • From the public gobound.com dashboard your profile icon will be in the top right corner.
    NOTE: If you do not see your initials click on "Sign in". You will either be prompted to log in or the page will reset and the profile icon will appear.

  • From the admin dashboard your profile icon will appear in the bottom left corner.

Step 3: Navigate to your Bound Account page

  • From the public gobound.com dashboard

    • Click on Settings in the drop down menu

  • From the admin dashboard dashboard

    • Click on your email address in the pop up menu

Both paths will display your Bound Account page, detailing your first and last name, username/email, phone number and category.

Step 4: Click on the yellow CHANGE USERNAME box

Step 5: Enter the "New Username" (new email address) then click on "Update Username"

You have now successfully changed your Username in your login credentials, however your password or other method of logging in will remain the same.
