How to add reservers to your school so they can submit facility request applications

Reserver = a person or entity wanting to reserve a facility.

In order for someone to submit a facility request application to your school, they need to be approved as a reserver for the school. There are two ways to become a reserver at a school.

1. As an admin of the school, you can add reservers manually. This will automatically create a Reserver account tied to the entered email address.

2. If a reserver already has a "Reserver" account, they can submit an application to become a reserver at your school from that account. You'd then need to approve them before they can actually submit a facility request application.

Note: Reserver accounts are tied to a users Bound account (what they use to log into Bound). It is possible for a user to have multiple Reserver accounts tied to their Bound account. It is also possible for a single Reserver account to be tied to multiple schools.

How to Manually Add Reservers

1. Begin by logging in and going to the Venues tab on your dashboard.

2. Click the Reservers tab, and then click "Add Reserver" in the top right corner.

Note: This page lists all approved Reservers for your school, if they're marked as a Staff Reserver, and if the Reserver's email is tied to a Bound Account.

3. Start by marking the Reserver as Active or Pending ("pending" means they won't be able to submit a facility request yet), mark them as Public or Staff ("staff" gives them access to rental setups and other features meant for schools staff only), and then enter the Reserver Account Name (can be a person or entities name), Address, Phone, and Description (if applicable), then click Save.

4. To provide that Reserver with a link to access their Reserver account, click the edit button next their name on the main Reservers list, and then copy the link at the top of the page and send that to them.

5. Additionally, Reservers can access their Reserver accounts from your schools public page on Bound. Click the School tab, then click Facility Request.



Applying for Reserver Access

1. Go to the school's public page that you're wanting Reserver access to.

Note: Not all schools use Bound' Facility Manager tool, so you may need to check with the school to confirm that they are.

2. If you're not logged into Bound, you'll be asked to login or create a Bound account. Once logged in, select an existing Facility Request account to apply with, or create a new one by clicking "Create New Facility Request Account".

3. If creating a new Facility Request account, enter the Account Name (can be a persons name or entity name), Email, Address, Phone, and Description (if applicable).

4. If you're applying with an existing Facility Request account, select the account you want to use. In that Facility Request account, click the Applications page, and then click "New Application. Type the name of the school, select it, and then click Submit. Once submitted, the application will show as pending on the Applications page.

5. Once your Facility Request application is approved, you'll see the school logo listed on the left side of your account.



Managing Your Schools Facility Request Account Applications

1. On the Venue's page, click the Reservers tab, and then click Applications. To review an application, click the edit button next to it.

2. Click the Accept or Reject Application buttons to settle the application.

3. Once accepted, the Reserver will show on the main list on the Reservers page (if they're a staff member, you'll need to go and mark them as staff). The Reserver will now see the school logo on the left side of their Facility Request account, and can click it to access the Facility Request application process.
