Importing Bound Meet Registration Data Into Hytek

How to import Bound meet registration data it into Hytek

No Divisions

1. In Hytek, Select File, Then Import, then "Semi-Colon Delimited Rosters/Entries"

2. Locate and select the entries file that you exported from Bound. It should be .txt file that looks similar to the following:

3. If you have Hytek 6.0 make sure to select “NO” on the next box that pops up:

4. You will see a Progress box that pops up. You can double check that your number of teams matchup, as well as athletes and relays. If you have exceptions you will see them here.

5. If you do have exceptions, an exceptions report will automatically be generated, you can use this file to find out the exceptions. If you have more than a handful, you will need to double check your events.



With Divisions

1. In Hytek, double check that divisions are set up properly, but checking your Meet Setup. To do this go to Setup, Then Meet Setup. Make sure Divisions By Event is Selected.

2. Double check the Names and Codes of your Divisions. Go to Setup, Then Division/Region Names, then Divisions.

3. Make sure the Division Number, Division Code and Division Name match what is set up in Bound.

4. Check that each event has a Division assigned to them.

To Assign a division, Double Click on the Event, Click on the Division dropdown and select a division.

5. Select File, Then Import, Then Semi-Colon Delimited Rosters/Entries
